The Le Praz Ski service includes:
7 nights en-suite accommodation, including linen and towels.
To relax you into your holiday and welcome you to Le Praz Ski and Courchevel we start with a Champagne reception and canapés on Saturday evening.
To kick start the morning and set you up with the energy you need for a day on the mountain both continental and cooked breakfast are offered including cereal, fresh bread, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea and coffee plus porridge and eggs.
Each afternoon tea will be laid out for you to help yourselves when you get back to the chalet – tea, coffee, juices, bread, jam, cheeses and the star of the show, a freshly baked cake.
Pre-dinner drinks and nibbles will be followed by a delicious evening meal and quality wine, with the menu tailored to the suit the needs of the guests. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know at the time of booking.
We have one day off each week, giving you a chance to sample one of the local restaurants in the evening and we will be delighted to make recommendations and bookings for you. Breakfast and a freshly baked cake for afternoon tea will be laid out for you and fresh bread, croissants and pain au chocolat are delivered to the chalet in the morning.
We regret that we are unable to arrange flights for you, however we will collect you from one of the main airports close to resort, namely Geneva, Chambery or Lyon and transfer you to resort. If you choose to arrive at another airport we cannot guarantee being able to collect you ourselves and an additional charge may apply to secure your transfer.
Increasing numbers of visitors to the resort are choosing to travel by train and take advantage of the extra days on the mountain and there are two options, the overnight Snow Train sleeper or the direct Eurostar, and we also pick up from Moutiers train station which is only a 20 minute drive from resort. Another option is to take advantage of cheap ferry tickets and the fast and quiet French Auto Route system and drive to resort.
To help you get the best out of your holiday, especially if you are new to the area or maybe just keen to try skiing different slopes we offer an on the mountain orientation on Sunday morning and in addition are available two days per week for guiding, to show you some of our favourite runs in the Courchevel and Three Valleys area.
These are not included in the cost of your holiday, however to save time on Sunday morning and help you catch the first lift we will arrange to collect them for you as you no longer need photograph – the Three Valleys moved to a proximity card system in 2006. Prices range from €182 for an adult 6 day Courchevel pass to €233 for an 8 day pass, and from €225 to €295 for a Three Valleys pass. Reductions are available for under-13’s and over-65’s and families with 2 adults and 2 to 4 children can get a 20% discount – for full details see the lift company website.
Ski or board hire is not included in the cost of your holiday. We are partnered with Skis Direct and for your convenience ski and board fitting is carried out shortly after your arrival at the chalet. For budgeting purposes, typical costs for 6 days hire range from €127 (standard skis and boots, suitable for beginners) to €180 (elite skis and boots, for the more advanced skier), children’s ski and boot hire costs €65 for 6 days and snowboard and boot hire costs €150 for 6 days. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced skier or boarder, our partner ski schools can help you get the best out of your holiday – either a private lesson to get you back on track or daily lessons to move your skiing or boarding to the next level. We are partnered with local independent ski schools who employ British instructors trained to the highest BASI level, and can arrange your lessons for you.
